Tons: Press Kit

Updated September 24, 2026 · tonsapp.com · App Store

What it is

Tons is a workout volume tracker built around one number: total tonnage, weight × reps, added up. Barbell sets, kettlebell swings and push-ups all count. Bodyweight reps use the person’s own weight from Apple Health, so one push-up is about 52 kg for an 80 kg lifter. The total turns into real things: a day climbs from a grand piano to an elephant to a T. rex and keeps going, and a lifetime walks a road of real objects, from 3 tons upward, each one passed on a date the app remembers. There are no plans, no timers and no sessions: a few sets between meetings count.

100-word description (EN)

The Eiffel Tower weighs 10,100 tons. How long would it take you to lift it? Tons counts one thing: the total weight you move. Every set, weight × reps, adds up, and bodyweight reps count too: one push-up is about two thirds of you. The total becomes something you can picture. Your day climbs from a grand piano to an elephant to a T. rex, and your lifetime climbs from a piano to a rocket. No plans, no timers, no sessions. A few push-ups here, a set there. On their own they are nothing. Together they are tons.

Bez planów, timerów i sesji. Kilka pompek tu, seria tam. Osobno to nic. Razem to tony.
